Everyone Deserves Clean Water

Cause Marketing is a tricky thing. You want to make sure to tell the world everything about your cause and why they should support it, but you miss the point if you get too in-depth. Details take time, and time is short.

Keep your cause marketing campaign short and focused. There is more than likely a very strong message that, when communicated effectively, will do more for your cause than imaginable.

Take Charity: Water, for example. Charity: Water is an organization that always uses 100% of all public donations to fund clean water projects around the world, where people are not so fortunate to have clean water.

Charity: Water does not do a ton of marketing, a lot is word of mouth and social media driven. This month, however, Charity: Water is running 4 million 30-second TV spots in NY City taxi cabs. Take a moment to watch it.

Everyone deserves clean water, don't they?

And with 100% of my money being given to the cause, I'd be happy to donate. Or to pledge it for my birthday. And tell my friends and family. Wouldn't you?
