By Invitation Only: Coach Exclusive Deals

I don't know about anyone else, but I love feeling special. Who doesn't? Special deals, previews, coupons--those things keep me hooked. So when I got my first Coach Factory preview sale email, I was pretty excited.

I've gotten quite a few now, but their method still stays the same. The first email from Coach is usually a sneak peek of the great deals to come and shows you a few items you can buy at a discount. It lets you know that the deal starts the next day, is invitation only and will last for 48 hours.

When they say "invitation only," they mean it. These sales happen fairly randomly and certain people on their list get chosen for access to the sale (though now, these sales happen more often). Sometimes my sister will get notice of a sale and I won't. When I try logging in (yes, you have to long in to get to the sale), it pretty much tells me that it's not my turn yet. Knowing that, it makes me a little more eager to check out the sale when I finally get my invitation.

On the day of the sale, you always get an email that begins with "STARTS NOW!" It's like the "ready, set, go" of shopping. The email shows you some of the top picks or new arrivals in this sale. If you visit the website, there is a countdown clock ticking away the minutes of this precious sale.

Coach found a killer combination to make their emails highly valuable through exclusivity on deeply discounted products. Personally, I have thought about moving their emails to the junk folder, but couldn't. Coach's emails have a way of making me feel special.

What can I say? It works.
