Marketo: Getting People Down the Funnel


Marketo definitely has a strong grasp over internet marketing. As a leading marketing automation and sales effectiveness software company, they provide the tools and knowledge to help businesses streamline marketing processes, deliver more campaigns, generate more win-ready leads, and dramatically improve sales performance. So how do they get people to know about them?

I actually didn’t learn about Marketo because of their products and services. I heard about Marketo through a co-worker. He said that it was a great place to learn about marketing in general and it is. They have ebooks, articles, whitepapers, webinars, cheat sheets and more! Although Marketo markets their products and services, they have positioned themselves as the king of marketing content. By having so much content out there, they attract an array of marketing professionals. Using forms along with the content each person downloads; Marketo can use the information to determine what that person is interested in and help them down the sales funnel.
